When I import a model from Revit, the entire floor is usually grouped as one material. What would be the best way to split this up so different rooms can have different floor materials?
Also, assigning a material to one side of a wall often assigns it to the other side as well. How can I split this up to have different materials on each side?

Update: I was able to address this by selecting the assemblies in Revit and then using the "Create Parts" and "Divide Parts" commands. I would be interested to learn if there are any other methods available though.
